Alumni interview: Jagadishwar Barun, WASH Specialist, UNICEF |
Jagadishwar Barun, an alumnus from Nepal currently serving as a Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) Specialist at UNICEF in Ukraine, has worked for UN and civil society organizations in Asia, Africa and Europe to ensure that displaced people, refugees and others in need have access to safe WASH services. He graduated with an MSc from IHE Delft in 2009. Read this interview to learn about his professional journey, including challenges and achievements. |

In memoriam: Patrick Denny, Professor of Wetland and Aquatic Ecology |
Patrick Denny was Professor of Wetland and Aquatic Ecology at IHE Delft from 1993 to his retirement in 2003. His work on wetlands continues to influence IHE Delft's wetland programmes. He supervised PhD candidates and MSc students, many of whom now hold senior positions, and inspired students and others with his vast expertise. |
